(*- I was cheap so I used to take two half worn zincs, sand them and put them together to act as one zinc. I don't know...

Re: Thermostat: 140 vs. 160 degree

Re: Another thread on bottom paint.

"Econea" isn't a specific chemical - it's a brand name for something. Kinda like saying "our engine oil contains Dynamic Foofram". But Pettit says it works as well as copper, an advertising claim which may be true but you should verify. I'm not knocking the product but as recomme...

Re: Another thread on bottom paint.

Some years ago I did a comparison between Trilux 33 and (I believe) ZO No Foul. One section was trilux, another ZO. Re: Free Riser

A little checking on the web and the Maryland DNR site shows no titles required for motors. Just boats. Your lucky day

Re: Free Riser

Jeff is too easy with the giveaway -- better would be asking for an essay on, say, Why I like my Marinette. Or Ten Steps to Boating Happiness.

Re: Zincs

What kind of zincs do you use on the steel rudders and prop shafts? I ordered the zincs from M and didn't get any for the steel parts. same as for rest of the boat. replace when they are 50% "used up." By the way, if shafts are properly isolated, they shouldn't require any zincs. Converse...
