Re: Chrysler Marine Exhaust manifolds and risers

Hi Bill , Mr. Cool is a little cheaper I think around 254 dollars for the manifolds but marineenginesparts is the cheapest for the end plates and the copper tube. Thanks

Re: LX301 Swap for chryslers

That article in hot rod forum ls how I converted my ignitions. I put the heat sinks on the brackets holding the two red button breakers and wired the lx301's as shown. This conversion has eliminated multiple corrosion inducing connections and worked very well for me. I'm surprised more haven't done ...

Re: 360 Chrysler running like crap cont...

Hi all, I solved my starting problems by using GM LX301 ignition modules and high power coils with a full 12 volts and got rid of all the Chrysler wire harness and resistors, but retain the stock distributors, plugs and wires. No more Chrysler ignition modules for me nor 4 or 5 pin wire harness's. Th...

Re: Aft Deck Restoration

The only flex was at the door seams which I used aluminum angle stock to re-enforce. If you have more questions PM me a phone number and I'll try to answer them.

Re: Aft Deck Restoration

Hi Carl I used 5/8 starboard. I got 4x8 and one 54 inch by 8 foot sheets from TPI plastics in Tampa. The starboard is applied directly to the stringers attached from the underside on both sides of the centerline but not all the way out the edges. The only place I needed extra support was the doors w...

Re: Aft Deck Restoration

Hi I used starboard with anti skid molded into the surface, it's great to walk on even wet and has never been too hot to walk on. I mounted it from the underside thru the stringers for a nice clean install. The stuff is maintance free, easy to clean and lasts forever. It looks just as good now as th...

Re: Auto Pilot systems

Hi Yooper, to really have a autopilot you have to convert the steering to hydraulic. The easy way to do this is to use seastar helms which are hydraulic pumps operated by you turning the wheel to displace the fluid to the steering cylinder at the rudders. You then add your reversible hydraulic pump ...

Re: Replacing aft deck

I used starboard with a anti skid surface molded into it, great to walk on nothing sticks to it or stains it always cool enough for bare feet. It's maintance free and will never rot.

Re: Fuel Pump Replacement

Hi you need to replace them with the marine version with the tube to the carb for safety, even though they will probably cost more.
