What was the air temp during that run? To level set your concern, my engine was doing it on a 80-90 degree day with water temp in the 80's. I almost think mine was boiling water. Both engines and genset would produce steam on a 65-70 degree day/night.

A PO of my houseboat actually has these identical things mounted on the front side of my flybridge. It is a pain to get out there and it gives a solid step.

Took the boat home after the festival the engines got a decent workout. Everything is good now.

A good friend lives on his 65 foot Pluckebaum throughout the last 2 winters. He will be either be pulling the boat or winterizing her at the dock as it proved way too costly to heat the boat through the frigid weather. Didn't take a super long trip today but long enough to get them hot. Manifolds were at 110-120.
