Re: Engine oil
You can get Rotella in all the popular viscosities. 15w 40 and sae 30 are most popular. Sae 40 gets used in a lot of diesel boats. They may even be offering 20w 50 and 0w 40, but that might be synthetic.

Re: Changing oil queations
Someone with a late model chrysler will have to verify, but all the LA chryslers I have worked on used a wix 51515 filter, or napa 1515. Re: How can I identify if manifolds/risers are leaking water into exhaust?
Make darn sure that your engine has an internal issue before you pull the trigger on replacement. I see this all the time where people want to replace engines because they are old, or have power issues. That is how I ended up with my boat on the cheap. The previous owner was having issues with engin...

Re: Stuck Valves?
Valves stuck shut will not raise your compression. It will create a cushion effect. This is how displacement on demand works in cars. Question 1: does it crank slow and smooth, or hit hard spots? Question 2: with the plugs in and coil wire disconnected, does it still crank slow. Or does it sound nor...

Found it! Wards Marine Electric in FL is the supplier. You can still buy the whole system new, or the parts.

What kind of cover was it. I have the cast aluminum plate that was in my floor. I no longer need it.
