Re: Guru on Marinette electrical grounding?
Wow, after reading this, it kinda has me stumped. I have a 1975 37' flybridge, that as far as I can tell, is pretty close to what is was since new. It's had some stuff "modified" and butchered up, but for the most part it's pretty original. I think my engines and batteries ground to the hu...

Air horns
Since the purchase of my 37' I am finding all the things that are wrong with it, as mentioned in some previous posts. One thing I found was the horns do not work. I have fixed a few items so far, like the air hoses to each horn were kinked shut ! One of the previous owners had tried to fix it before...

Re: 37 ft. Sedan Flybridge
Bill, not sure how I'm going to fix it. Didn't know if replacing the lower section with a brass fitting would cause an electrolysis issue.

Re: 37 ft. Sedan Flybridge
I have a 1974 SedanFlybridge I just purchased too. Luckily, I am a mechanic for a living. I am slowly figuring out all the idiosyncrasies of her. One I just found over the weekend was that there is 4 drain holes molded into the aluminum exterior wall just forward of the lower deck windows. All of th...

Re: Great Lakes Marinette Rendezvous
Hi Folks, I will be attending, and understand there are 10 boats registered so far. There are 5 Marinettes docked at my marina at Lakevue in Marblehead. Hoping to see a bunch more going. I will be able to show any who are interested the method I used to mold new plastic Marinette emblems. It's easy ...

Re: HOW TO: Change Rudder Bushings (Fastjeff Page)
Thanks Bill. I've been trying to figure out how to make my signature, but I don't know how. I thought I saw a post for it, but now I can't find it.

Re: HOW TO: Change Rudder Bushings (Fastjeff Page)
Do you have the replacement parts numbers for the nylon plastic stuffing box and the new rudder bushings? I'd also like to upgrade to stainless rudders, do you know anyone that makes them. My boat is a 37' twin screw, so do you know the dimensions of the rudder blades?

Love the seats, and the fact that they're car seats is even more impressive. I have a question on the overhead lighting recessed above the windows. Are they L.E.D.'s I love 'em I want to do that to mine.

Re: New to Marinette. Made new exterior emblems.
I will try to put together a visual presentation of how I made new emblems. One of my sea horses lost its snout, and the other broke its tail in 4 different places in the process of cleaning up the old emblems so I could use them as molds. They are 40 years old, after all, the plastic is dry & v...
