Re: Scrap it or save it. Need advice!
Curious what the insurance company will let you take off the boat before they scrap it. If you plan on getting another Marinette maybe you can remove hardware/windows etc., that could be useful on the new boat?

Scrap it.
You will put more than 13k into restoration and will never get anywhere close to the restoration amount in a future sale.
Take the money and run.

Re: Old site pictures
The gallery is messed up. I tried going to the last page first then working back but no luck. You might try a html downloader such as HTTrack. It will "crawl" through a website and download all content for offline browsing. If the photos are within the url, HTTrack should pull them down to...

Re: Interior wood
Most interior larger pieces/paneling is veneered plywood. I would guess that head door is veneer and will fall apart outside.
Most smaller interior trim pieces are solid teak.
I used Plasteak to make new exterior steps.

Re: Question to owners about your 32' FB Sedan
Check this link from the parts page. These are for a 1986 32' sedan with Chrysler 360ci. I'm guessing they are the same but you could take those numbers to Napa or maybe any parts store and have them reference them for a 318ci? They will probably be different size from the 318ci automotive belts due...

Re: Replacing Breaker in 120 Volt Panel!!!!
While you are in there check for hardened/slightly melted spade connectors. I have replaced several over the years that got a little warm for a bit too long. Generally the water heater, AC, refer etc.
Seems like electrical was not a factory specialty back in the 70s/80s.

Re: Raw water pump replacement.
I use silicone grease on all rubber parts, gaskets, o-rings etc. Helps lube and should not breakdown the rubber. I figure any grease on the impellers will be blown off in short order anyhow. I only use it for ease of installation and initial dry startup.
