Re: Prop Shaft Seal question

I need to repack the stuffing boxes on a 1984 28 Express, 11 ft beam, twin 318s
Have not done this before- looks very very tight to reach, esp since I am large
Any feedback from those with experience? How difficult to reach?
What packing material do you recommend ? Any concerns with graphite?

Re: Flying Bridge Restoration

How was/is the flybridge attached?
How much do you estimate the flybridge weighs?

Re: First Post, First Boat, 32' Sedan

Yes get the capac working and likely repaint the bottom before relaunch
But before that as Scott recommended, a sea trial with a surveyor or mechanic
You will have a lot to do, you do not need a new or rebuilt engine to be added to the list
Please check in with a progress report

Re: Wanted: 28 Sportsman : Great Lakes Region

All depends on condition, engines, maintenance, options, care..and how bad do you want it
Twins and at the end of the run help
In general you are right
Seems like Marinette prices vary widely on the above factors, often a bargain in the world of big bucks boating
