Re: Recommendation on boat hauler?
We will definitely compare notes and I would love to fish together if the opportunity arises! So sorry to hear the obstacles you are having to overcome getting it transported. I know that it has been frustrating to say the least. Hopefully you won't have to haul out for any hurricanes in the near fu...

Re: Recommendation on boat hauler?
Hi Gary, I see you are in Eastpoint Fl near Appalachicola. I am guessing you are going to use the 32' marinette you just purchased out of Appalachicola? The reason I ask is I fish out of Indian Pass but not in my Marinette. It stays in Tennessee. Plans to use it offshore? Hope your transport goes we...

Re: Has anyone added a second fuel filler port?
You have twin engines, don't you have a fuel tank for each engine with a fuel port on each side?

I agree with Bill. With twin engines you can "neutral steer" and piviot the boat however you want.

Re: Not even sure how to ask about this...
I am not the authority on this but there are members here from Maryland and Alaska whom I believe use or have used theirs in saltwater. I believe you would want one with a closed cooling system. A couple of members handles that could probably give you a better idea of the salt water applications wou...

Re: Silly marina sign
Wow that reminds me of a sign a saw a few years back and I wish I would have taken a photo as evidence. It was a WET PAINT sign except it read "Wet Pain't" I guess P + ain't = Pain't. They are out there

Re: Dual Helm switching procedure/rudder issue
Greg, Did you ever figure out your issue? I have had something similar when switching to the upper flybridge in which the steering seemed off as compared to the steering in the salon. My solution has been to first switch the control to the flybridge then climb up there and turn the wheel completely ...

Re: Engine Temperature spike
I too had the same issue where suddenly the temperature would spike and then correct itself at random intervals. Mine turned out to be the strainer as well. I watched the volume of water going through one strainer (the problem one) seemed less than the engine strainer with no issues. I tightened dow...

Re: Fresh water pump & accumulator
I replaced mine 2 years ago with a Sureflo Aqua King 2. I don't remember the cost but it sure was an improvement over the Jabsco belt driven pump I had. I am really pleased with my water pressure and it runs very quiet. I can hardly hear it running when it kicks on. I also have 2 sinks, one head and...
