At wot it might be an issue. Your props are usually set up for the hp you're running currently. More hp would make the rpm too high at wot. Might void the warranty on the new motor.

Do one side vinyl and one side sunbrella. Flip to vinyl side for fishing and sunbrella side for comfort.

I was replacing my holding tank at the slip last weekend, huge Sunseeker pulled in a few slips down. Easily a million +.
