What Windlass to buy
I've got a Good Windlass that I intend to replace. It's slow, noisy and doesn't pull up the last 10' of chain. I need one that will quickly and quietly do the job, all from the bridge. Any recommendations? Is there a better one that will pretty much drop in where the Good is?
Thanks for any help.

Re: HOW TO: Changing Raw Water Pump Impellers (Fastjeff Page)
I think I should change mine this year. Is there a gasket that goes between the pump housing and bearing housing? I want to make sure I have everything before beginning the process.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Cosmetic hole plugs.
I intend to relocate the radio antenna, which will leave a hole. Are there flush white plugs available that would fill the hole. I also may relocate the horn and some other electronics, which will leave the screw holes exposed. Is there a cosmetic fix for that, other than just putting a screw back i...

Re: Fuel gauge sending unit
Thanks supersport18 for the testing procedure and schematic, I'll definitely check that out first and hopefully I'll be one of the 90%. Yooper, your research was a big help. I hope I don't have to replace the sender, but if so, I'll check with Jamestown Distributors first.
Thanks again,
Louky

Fuel gauge sending unit

He said I need to measure the dimensions of the tank and get the appropriate size. Can you guys offer any advise on the procedure, things to check 1st...

Re: Winterizing Chrysler engines on the hard- raw water syst
jralbert is right. Louky (Lou isville KY) I was rushing to get the AF in the engines while they were still hot and I still had some light, but I think I'll feel better if I go through it again when I have more time. I would feel better about it if I drain the blocks. The boat yard I'm in doesn't wan...

Re: Winterizing Chrysler engines on the hard
I bought my boat in the spring. The previous owner had been doing it this way for years, so I did the same. I had my boat pulled today. The trip to the boat yard took about a half hour, so the engines were well heated. He said to just close the seacocks and then poor the pink stuff into the strainer...
